A day after being named Mid-American Conference volleyball player of the week, Stephanie Keller was named as the female MAC Scholar Athlete of the week.
Keller, the senior libero, became the MAC's all time digs leader against Western Michigan on Friday and is currently only 58 digs shy of becoming the conference's all time leader.
The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week award is presented to a student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and performs well during the previous week of competition.
Keller is Ball State's first scholar athlete of the season.
