Ball State closes out its regular season Saturday at thePre-NCAA Meet in Terre Haute. The Indiana State home course is alsothe sight of the NCAA Championships.
The Cardinals, who carry a No. 8 regional ranking into the meet,have placed in the top three of all four meets so far, includingfirsts at the Butler Open and Indiana University Open. Senior JillScully has paced Ball State in each race, winning the Butler Openand garnering two seconds and a fourth. Additionally, fellow seniorSarah Huddleston has been the team's No. 2 runner each time.
After Saturday, the Cardinals have two weeks to prepare for theMid-American Conference Championship at Toledo. Coach Sue Parks'team grabbed its first-ever league title in 2003.
