The men's and women's swimming and diving team travels to Purduefor the Indiana Intercollegiate tomorrow. It is the season openerfor the men.
The Ball State women, under co-coaches Bob Thomas and LauraSiebold-Caudill, opened their season last week with a resounding191-92 victory over Illinois State, a match that was expected to becloser. Addison Del Rio and Ashley Vanosdol were the top winners.Del Rio took first in the 200-yard individual medley and 100backstroke, while Vanosdol took the 50 and 100 freestyle. The twoteamed with Karla Bailey and Erin Johnson to win the 200medley.
The men's team is led by junior freestyler and backstrokerKurtis Leer and senior diver Ryan Plantz.
