A new scholarship for Burris Laboratory graduates and studentsin teacher education at Ball State University honors a Ball Stateprofessor.
The Nancy J. Mannies Memorial Scholarship was created by thefamily of Mannies, who died in 2003, with a fund of $25,000.
Mannies taught social studies at Burris and education at BallState from 1960 to 1990.
Her children graduated from Burris.
