PREDICTIONS: Ball State media members give their picks for the game:

Vince Eagan, Newslink Sports Director: NIU 42 - BSU 24

Northern brings a full plate to the table when you look at itsrunning game. Ball State currently is having a tough time fillingin all the spots on the offensive and defensive lines due toinjury. Ball State hangs close early but can't find a way in theend.

Nathan Rausch, Newslink Asst. Sports Director: NIU 42 - BSU27

Ball State finally returns home, but to a very good NorthernIllinois team. Ridgeway will break 1,000 yards receiving on theseason and special teams lapses from previous weeks will becorrected, but it won't be enough. The Cardinals will make a gameout of it, but they will still fall to the talented Huskies.

John Duong, Ex. Producer Cardinal Sports Live: NIU 45 - BSU28

The Huskies yielded lots of points against Western Michigan, butthey also scored much more. The Huskies ground game will be toostrong for the Cards to handle.

Will O'Hargan, Asst. Sports Editor: NIU 49 - BSU 20

Northern Illinois will overpower the Cardinals, both on offenseand defense. Look for the Huskies to have a pretty secure lead bythe half, as this one looks like it won't be much of a contest. NIUis too good of a program for the Cardinals to have a realisticchance of upsetting at this point in their development.

Mike Genet, Sports Editor: NIU 24 - BSU 20

With everything going against them, Ball State comes out firedup and plays possibly its best game of the year, keeping Northernin check by forcing some turnovers. But the Cards can't get thatgame-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. Givens and Ridgewayboth top 100 yards -- again.
