The Ball State women's basketball team has named Heather Cusickits director of operations.
Cusick, a former Mid-American Conference and Kokomo High Schoolstar, had her number retired at rival Miami. She ended her RedHawkscareer in 2003 as the all-time leader in points, field goals,3-point field goals, assists and 20-point scoring games. She was amember of the 1999 Indiana high school All-Star team.
Cusick fills the void left by Jeanette Gray, who was promoted toassistant coach after Stephanie White left for a position withKansas State University.
