NBA Former Card shines in summer league

Lonnie Jones spent four years playing at Ball State University playing center for the Cardinals. His next job may be playing alongside LeBron James.

Jones is currently attending playing ins the Reebok Vegas Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs, who recently lost 6-foot-9 forward Carlos Boozer, are looking for someone around Jones' height to fill the hole Boozer left.

Jones is currently leading the league in rebounds, averaging 20 per game. He has also been a productive scorer. Jones went 8-12 from the field against Phoenix and also added 20 boards.

In his second game, Jones played 37 minutes and went 7-10 from the field and nine rebounds. Jones did not perform as well against Denver, only going 3-9 with only 4 blocks, and only played 22 minutes.
