The men's golf team held their annual team banquet to award players for their achievements.
Freshman C.D. Hockersmith was voted the team's Most Valuable Player after being the Cardinals' No. 1 golfer much of the 2003-04 season.
Hockersmith ended the season with a career-low round of 68 at the Mid-American Conference Championships. The four-under par performance helped him finish in ninth place, while the team finished in fourth. He was also named to the All-MAC Second Team.
The team's Most Improved Player award was given to junior Bud Graessle after he lowered his average almost two strokes from a year ago.
