WOMEN'S TENNIS Cardinals rip through Wisconsin-Milwaukee

Before the Cardinals left for Spring Break, they had to faceWisconsin-Milwaukee. The Cardinals came out swinging, having noproblems with the Panthers, winning 7-0.

The Cardinals (8-4, 2-0 in Mid-American Conference) dominatedthe Panthers, winning every set by at least four points.

Perhaps the most telling match was Melissa Roach and Katie Owensdomination in doubles. They didn't let Margie VanLieshout andCassie Kuranz score a single point.

Jenny Batty, Jill Wieman and Susan Kelly all held their singleopponents to one point over the two matches, while Roach andJessica Thompson held their opponents to one point a match.

The Cardinals will return to action Friday after 14 days of restto face MAC opponent Toledo at 1 p.m. at Toledo before heading toYpsilanti, Mich., the next day to take on Eastern Michigan, whichwill be their final away match of the regular season.
