The women's golf team finished 12th out of 16 teams in last weekend's Lady Herd Classic. The Cardinals shot rounds of 336, 320 and 328 for a total of 984. They finished 66 strokes behind first place Western Carolina, who scored 918.
Carmen Bodine was Ball State's top finisher, shooting 238 (78-76-84), which tied her for 24th. Katie Sundberg finished tied for 50th with a 247, and Amber Uphaus tied for 58th with a 251.
Marshall and Eastern Michigan were the highest-placing Mid-American Conference schools, both shooting 952 and tying for seventh.
Ball State finished third among the four MAC schools, beating Bowling Green by 13 strokes.
