The final clue will be released today in the case of a "murdered" professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
Alpha Phi Sigma has been releasing clues throughout the week leading to the faculty member responsible for the "death" of Dr. Taiping Ho in the group's murder-mystery contest.
A bulletin board in the department on North Quad's second floor displays the evidence released so far, including pictures of the crime scene and a transcript from Ward's discussion with police.
Nathan Monroe, president of Alpha Phi Sigma, the criminal justice honor society, said students have been eager to keep up with the "evidence."
"The first day there was a big crowd around the board," Monroe said.
Today the final clue will be posted, and a table will be set up in the department from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. taking guesses for $1 apiece.
Participants are limited to two guesses, and the game is open to all students, not just criminal justice students.
The names of students who guess correctly will be posted on Monday. Those names will be placed into a drawing for a $50 Simon gift card, and the winner's name will be drawn on Wednesday.
Any profit Alpha Phi Sigma is able to make will go toward a March 30 trip to Indianapolis to visit the FBI building.
