The University Staff Council donated 4,370 items in this year'sinaugural drive for children in Muncie schools.
Some of the items included crayons, watercolors, notebooks andcalculators.
Besides a blood drive in June and a coat drive in October, thisis the second time the Staff Council held the drive to givechildren in Muncie new items to kick off the school year.
Teresa Rector, coordinator and purchasing department assistant,said in a recent press release that she was pleased to see thecampus community pull together to help out younger citizens.
