72 Hrs. | All the fun, none of the education

"Old School" is a comedy about three buddies who decide to start their own off-campus fraternity to try and recapture their outrageously fun college years. Mitch (Luke Wilson), Frank (Will Ferrell), and Beanie (Vince Vaughn) have all reached crossroads in their lives where they can choose to get married and get jobs or postpone adulthood and start a fraternity without attending college. They choose to live irresponsibly in an abandoned fraternity house.

The majority of the film shows the over-the-hill trio attempting to manage normal adult lives with wives, kids and a job, while still being devoted fraternity brothers.

Mitch's character is played by Wilson. Mitch is a slightly uptight real estate lawyer who always plays by the rules. In the beginning of the movie, Mitch is about to propose to his girlfriend -- until he returns home early from a meeting and finds her being unfaithful to him. He quickly moves out and gets a house right off a college campus. That's when his friends Beanie and Frank encourage him to start his own fraternity.

Will Ferrell stars as Frank. He's getting married but has his doubts about whether it's the right thing to do. Known as "Frank the Tank" from his college days, he continues to keep up the reputation and eventually ruins his marriage.

Beanie is played by Vaughn. He's the most serious of the three about his wife and kids, but in the new atmosphere he becomes tempted. Ultimately, he is a good guy who tries to do the right thing.

The sorority sisters are played by Ellen Pompeo, Juliette Lewis, Leah Remini, Perrey Reeves and Elisha Cuthbert. Pompeo plays Nicole, who dates Mitch after his recent breakup.

Beanie's wife Lara is played by Remini. She seems to be able to handle her husband's new temptations. She doesn't let him pull anything over on her.

Reeves plays Marissa, who recently married Frank. She is shocked by his behavior, because she has planned the perfect life. She thinks those dreams will come true until he reverts back to his teenage years. There isn't anything she can do to get him back into reality.

Elisha Cuthbert, who plays Darcie, welcomes Mitch and his friends back to "Greek Row." The dean of the university is played by Piven. He's an overachiever with a slight case of anger management disorder. Appearing as himself, Snoop Dogg performs at a frat party. Seann Williams and Andy Dick also make appearances in the film.
