2-year starter decides not to return, cites personal reasons

Amy Zercher, a two year starter who was mainly used as a reserve last year, will not return to the Ball State women's basketball team for her senior season.

Zercher, who played at Northwood High School, averaged 9.5 points and 7.1 rebounds as a full-time starter her first two years with Ball State. Last season, she only started two out of 26 games and averaged 4.6 points and 3.8 rebounds.

The 5-foot-10 guard cited personal reasons, which were not disclosed by the university.
