Ball State Bookstore floods after storm

The Ball State bookstore, located in the Atrium may not be back in business until late Monday, according to store managers.

Water pressure from Thursday's storm caused water to shoot up through an air vent in the middle of the store ruining clothing and other merchandise leaving wet floors and possible safety hazards, according to store manager Melissa Brinker.

Brinker said the store could lose up to $6,000 a day in business.

"This was a pretty devastating experience," Brinker said. "I didn't think that we were going to have to move the store this summer."
