Elderly woman shoved outside Emens

A 78-year-old woman was injured while leaving Emens Auditorium Monday with her husband and was taken to the Ball Memorial Hospital.

According to police reports, Mary M. Luker, Westminster Village, was walking in a crowd while leaving a show and were walking down the steps in front of the AC Building. Luker was shoved from behind and was knocked down three steps.

Luker suffered multiple lacerations to her face, hands and knees and was taken to the emergency room of Ball Memorial Hospital.

According to Deputy Chief of University Police Robert Fey, no additional information exists about the incident.
