President Mearns finishes informal visits for the semester

After making two rounds of informal visits this semester, President Geoffrey S. Mearns will finish his informal visits for the semester Thursday.

He will begin the visits at 7 a.m. and stop by the following buildings: 

  • Amelia T. Wood Health Center
  • Child Study Center
  • Service Stores Building 
  • Showalter Building 
  • University Apartments Office, Service and Community Building

So far, Mearns has visited 13 buildings this semester, including: Administration Building; Ball Gym; Heat Plant/Central Chilling Plant; Lucina Hall; South Grounds Building; South Service/Christy Woods Office; West Quad Building; Alumni Center; Dr. Joe and Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse; John W. and Janice B. Fisher Football Training Complex; Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass; Ron and Joan Venderly Football Center; and Sports Facilities Grounds Building. 

Mearns and Jennifer, his wife, began informal visits Sept. 27 as an effort to get to know the campus and the Ball State community better. Since, more than 30 buildings have been visited.
