Muncie police responded to the CVS in the 3300 block of E. Jackson St. for an armed robbery around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say two people walked into the store, displayed a handgun and tried to take narcotics from the pharmacy.

Tyler Sevion, 18, Muncie and Gabriel Taylor, 18, Muncie, were arrested Tuesday and preliminarily charged with armed robbery.

A pharmacist gave them three bottles of liquid Hydrocodone.

Officers were able to locate Sevion and Taylor a short time after the robbery and got into a foot pursuit.

No injuries were reported.
