Construction zone signs will be going up as work begins next week on a $2.3 million pavement repair and resurface project.

The project will take place on more than 13 miles of State Road 32 in Delaware and Randolph counties.

Milestone Contractors will begin by modernizing concrete curb ramps in Parker City before removing and replacing 1.5 inches of surface pavement between Selma and Winchester, excluding a section of road shared with State Road 1 through Farmland, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

State Road 32 will remain open to traffic during milling and paving, scheduled to begin in August. Flaggers will be posted to direct traffic around work sites.

The project is expected to be complete by November.
