Senior guard Nathalie Fontaine broke the all-time record for Ball State women's basketball career points March 2.
She already owned the program's all-time free-throw record with 523 career made free throws.
Based on her record, it's appropriate that the record-breaking shot was a 2-point basket. Fontaine has put her name in the books by shooting almost exclusively 2-point shots and free throws — hardly ever from shooting outside the 3-point line.
The graphic below maps the density of Fontaine's career baskets based on point value compared to the next four record holders.
