BASKETBALL: Men's, women's teams double-up today against Toledo at Worthen

Men's team tries to end funk at 1 p.m., while women's team goes for statement win thereafter

The Ball State University men's and women's basketball teams host the University of Toledo today at Worthen Arena in what are pivotal games for both teams.

For the men's side, the team is trying to end a three-game losing streak in which the offense has sputtered. For a full scouting report on the Rockets and the game, check out our BasketBall State Blog entry to the right.

A little respect is in mind for the women's team. The Cardinals won the Mid-American West Divison and MAC Tournament Championship titles last season, defeated the University of Tennessee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and were voted behind Toledo as the favorites in the preseason MAC West polls. Can Ball State prove it's still tops in the MAC West? See our preview to the right.
