Daily News wins 37 awards at 2017 ICPA convention

The Daily News brought home 37 awards at the 2017 Indiana Collegiate Press Association convention on Saturday. ICPA consists of more than 40 collegiate publications from newspapers, yearbooks, online publications, news magazines and literary magazines.

Check out "I Am A Bird Now," the second album from Antony & The Johnsons. Upon release in 2005, this record won the Mercury Prize, a prize awarded to the best album of the year by any British-born artist or group.

RECAP: Ball State softball goes 2-0 in doubleheader vs. Ohio

In a close battle between the two Mid-American Conference league leaders, Ball State softball (25-17, 9-1 MAC) went 2-0 in today's doubleheader against Ohio (25-10, 6-4 MAC).  With a 3-2 victory over the Bobcats in the first game, and an extra-inning 3-2 victory in the second matchup, the Cardinals now hold an eight-game win streak and handed Ohio its first loss while at home this season. Junior right hander Carolyn Wilmes had a day on the mound, grabbing her 11th win for a complete game.
