An employee of the Burris Laboratory School is responsible for more than $65,000 missing from the school, according to an audit report from the Indiana State Board of Accounts. Burris is a K-12 school on Ball State University's campus and a department of Teacher's College.

University Computing Services said that a hacker breached a university server and defaced student and faculty web pages. The intrusion happened early Monday morning and was announced in a campuswide e-mail Tuesday afternoon. The longest active dean on campus is stepping down from his position and will be replaced beginning July 1. John Jacobson was named the Dean of Teachers College on Friday, replacing Roy Weaver, who has worked as dean for the past 16 years at Ball State University.
The long time voice of the Cardinals will be inducted into the Indiana Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in October. Morry Mannies has been the Ball State University play-by-play announcer for men's basketball and football since his freshman year at Ball State in 1956 and was named an inductee to the hall of fame last week.
