Griffith set a new personal best in the pentathlon with her score of 4099 points after a first-place finish in high jump, 60-meter hurdles and long jump Feb. 25. Head coach Adrian Wheatley said Griffith was prepared and displayed her talent.

Entering his 16th season as head coach of the Cardinals, Rich Maloney’s system remains the same. Having won four MAC regular season titles in his tenure, he said he believes the players’ buy-in and commitment will help the Cardinals reach success.
In the Cardinals' 64-56 win against the Broncos, Rauch scored a career-high 22 points on 10-for-10 shooting from the field. Head Coach Brady Sallee said he felt happy for Rauch because of her unselfish mentality.
In 2009 — a year into K.J.’s sickle cell anemia diagnosis — Keith, who is currently Ball State Football’s defensive line coach, got a full-time as the linebackers coach at Wayne State University in Detroit. It meant he had to balance coaching and being there for his son in the hospital.

This weekend was the beginning of Ball State baseball's (2-2) 56 game regular season campaign. At the Swig and Swine tournament in Charleston, South Carolina, the Cardinals split its four games.
The Cardinals victory earned them a season sweep against the Falcons, as Ball State won the first meeting 81-80 Jan. 1.
The Cardinals started the match by winning the first set 25-19, but suffered a "reverse sweep," as Loyola Chicago won the following three sets 25-23, 25-21 and 25-20 respectively.
In its three losses, Ball State has lost by a combined 11 points. As the MAC Tournament picture takes shape, head coach Brady Sallee said the Cardinals are not capitalizing during final possessions.
The Owls were paced by junior forward Carter Fisher, who scored a team-high 17 points and gathered five rebounds. McKibben and junior guard Colin McBride each scored 10 points. McBride also contributed seven rebounds and five assists. Sophomore center Asher Donahue tallied 11 points and nine rebounds.
These all sound like top headlines for an amazing and interesting season. Yet, the 2021-22 NBA season has felt like anything but that. Why is that?
