BASEBALL: Six former Cardinals begin seasons in Minor Leagues

With Opening Day for the Minor Leagues today, center fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker will return to the Boston Red Sox Class A affiliate in Greenville, S.C., and shortstop Dean Anna will open the year with San Diego Padres' Class A team in Fort Wayne. Four other former Cardinals are also playing in the minor leagues, including former first round draft picks Bryan Bullington and Brad Snyder, who are in AAA.

Student dances his way through campus

 It's early in the morning and students are just leaving for class. Some carry coffee, some wear headphones and some walk briskly while mentally preparing for their early-morning class. But just down the sidewalk a student with headphones blaring busts out dancing while moving toward his own class. Ian Truelove, a sophomore dance major, is a student who dances to class on a regular basis.

Indy-based band p.o.n.s. expands sound

The members of P.O.N.S. originally got together in 2008 with a lineup that included eight drummers. In 2010, that number dwindled down to one and the official lineup for self-proclaimed "Electric Psych-Warriors," P.O.N.S. was created.

OUR VIEW: Ball State could use some new tricks

Twenty years ago, Ball State University and Butler University were rivals. Since then, the programs have gone different ways. Ball State hasn't won a tournament game since 1990. Butler just came within two points of winning the national championship.
