GYMNASTICS: Ball State plays host to Eastern Michigan in regular-season finale

One key matchup will be in the all-around. Eastern Michigan freshman Kaylyn Millick and Ball State sophomore Brittney Emmons are currently ranked No. 7 and No. 8 in the all-around in the conference, respectively. This should be a close matchup, as they are currently separated by 0.02 points.

GYMNASTICS: Upon further review, Ball State defeats Eastern Michigan

At the end of the meet, a judges' review found that Ball State's Christa Greinke's floor score had been undervalued, raising it by 0.05 and giving the Cardinals the lead. Eastern Michigan also put in two score appeals, but they did not change the Eagles' score, giving the win to Ball State.

GYMNASTICS: A fond farewell

The 2010 class of the Ball State University gymnastics team will say goodbye to Cardinal fans and Worthen Arena on Sunday. Ball State will face Eastern Michigan University at 1 p.m. in the seniors' final home meet.

Planning the music is important. When the gymnast, coach and arranger are preparing the music, they want to plan the music for tumbling passes. After those passes, it is common to have a little down time in the music so the gymnast can catch her breath.

Emmons' all-around score is the third-best all-time at Ball State, and the highest score ever recorded in a regular season meet.

GYMNASTICS: Cardinals look to even record with meet at Illinois State

This will be the first meet of the season for Ball State not on a Sunday. Coach Nadalie Walsh said that she thinks the short week will not affect her team, adding that the gymnasts have been efficient in practice to be prepared for the meet.
