A slow start for Ball State (7-21, 2-14 MAC) damaged its hopes of getting back in the win column as the Cardinals fell to Western Michigan (10-17, 4-12 MAC), 72-54.
After a 3-0 loss to Purdue Fort Wayne Feb. 21, No. 15 Ball State (7-8, 1-4 MIVA) will return to action this weekend against Lindenwood (7-9, 3-3 MIVA) and Quincy (4-12, 0-6 MIVA).
