Sen. Birch Bayh, author of Title IX law, dies at age 91

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Former U.S. Sen. Birch Bayh, who championed the federal law banning discrimination against women in college admissions and sports, died at his home Thursday at age 91.

Early offense, pitching give Ball State Baseball first home win

Empower has been given two more fines for violating the elections code during the two days of the first round of voting.


The University Program Board has released the rest of its schedule for the Spring 2019 semester. The films will be shown at 9 p.m. Friday nights in Pruis Hall.

Ball State Women’s Basketball season comes to close after first-round loss to Toledo

While Ball State (8-23, 3-15 MAC) managed to outscore Toledo (20-10, 12-7 MAC) in every quarter apart from the first, the early deficit gave the Rockets enough headway to come out victorious to advance to the second round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament, sending the Cardinals back to Muncie and ending their season.
