In my opinion, this weekend is the most anticipated weekends of the year.First off, it's Halloween so we're all excited about that — costumes, candy, and very late nights — but one thing about this weekend that I have been anticipating for almost two years is the release of the long overdue sequel to the cult classic, Boondock Saints. For those of you who haven't seen the first movie, you have a week to do it before the second one comes out. Lighting the way

John McVey remembers coming out as a junior while at Ball State University 32 years ago.The time was both a traumatic and easy time that was somewhat eased by maintaining social relationships with faculty members on campus."There was still a divide, but it did make us feel better," he said.At the time Gay Activists Union, the GLBTQ organization on campus, had a couple meetings a month and served primarily as a way for members of the GLBTQ community to meet.

When sophomore defender Tina Vannatta came to Ball State University as a freshman, she felt she had no chance to play for the soccer team, especially after the adversity she faced in high school in Powhatan, Va.In high school, Vannatta tore her anterior cruciate ligament three times during the soccer season. She felt playing very little in high school gave her no chance at playing college soccer.

Duo has strong Appetite for Murder

Before March, Karmen Ailes and Rebekah Ward had led lives without mystery.During the day, Ailes was working full time as an insurance agent. Her daughter, Ward, was taking a full course load at Ivy Tech Community College.But starting this spring, in addition to their day jobs, the mother-daughter duo began hosting dinner parties every other month — always with a side of murder.As part of their small business, called Appetite for Murder, the two stage murder mystery dinner parties, complete with a fully catered dinner.
