The Last 'Lost'

Few shows are capable of competing with the President's State of the Union for a time slot and winning. But not every show is "Lost."Hysteria for the show has started to build up after a leak of the first four minutes of the season premiere online. As people around the country prepare to (hopefully) have all of their questions answered, Ball State University students are beginning to discuss their theories as well as look back at a show that is beginning its sixth and final season tonight.

Ball State to fix it's Web site display graphics

Ball State University is working on fixing its Web site, which had been experiencing difficulty to display graphics in some pages. Tony Proudfoot, associate vice president for marketing and communications, said the problem started in a small way on Friday. A Ball State publisher changed a directory name from the media library, which is the place where all the university Web site's graphics are located.

Braille literacy on the decline

Even though some students recently received a crash course in deciphering the code used for reading by visually-impaired and blind people, some studies have revealed that Braille literacy has actually been decreasing due to advances in technology.

Singers' 'Cabaret' hits high notes

Sophomore music performance major Brad Kieper has always wanted to sing onstage.At the annual University Singers Cabaret concert Friday in Sursa Hall, he sang the opening solo, "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban, as director Alan Alder accompanied him on piano."I want to show people I can, to show them what they think I can't or won't do," Kieper said. "You just can't take singing out of my life."
