Following the life of teenager Carrie White, the Muncie Civic Theatre presents Stephen King's "Carrie: The Rock Musical." Set in the 1980's, Carrie, portrayed by Alex Oeschel, a freshman acting major, is a special girl facing the trials of high school, including bullying. When the taunts and jeers become too much, Carrie's power of telekinesis emerges, wreaking havoc at the prom.
