MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- More temperature changes are in the forecast for Muncie. This has been the trend over the last few days, with 60 degrees on Tuesday followed by 3 inches of snow on Wednesday. The weekend calls for warmer temps, in the lower 50s on Saturday and lower 40s on Sunday. There will also be rain late Saturday night into Sunday, with new accumulations around a tenth of an inch possible. Throughout the next work/school week, things look nice and sunny every day Monday through Friday. 40 on Monday, 47 on Tuesday, upper 30s Wednesday and Thursday, and mid 40s to end the work week next Friday. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good Evening! The jet stream has moved south from Canada, bringing much cooler air along with it. Today, Muncie also first got its taste of sticking snow! It began as flurries throughout the day, but got a bit heavier in the beginning evening hours around dinner time. These flurries will move out overnight, still leaving cold air as the last full week of classes for the Fall 2016 semester end here at Ball State. After a high of 26 for tomorrow, temps will get a bit warmer into the lower 30s for Saturday and Sunday. Coming along on Sunday, this is when the next frontal system will move through the area, bringing a few inches of snow along for the ride. Expect snow throughout the day on Sunday, turning over to rain going into Monday. Temps will be in the mid-to-lower 30s for Monday and Tuesday, before an even colder Arctic air blast moves into Indiana Wednesday night and into Thursday. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- As a very hectic week comes to an end, the weekend is almost here! Veteran's Day is tomorrow and it will be a nice day to thank our Veteran's for their service. Tomorrow brings a high of 56 with sunny skies, but temperatures are going to drop soon after. A cold front will move through Indiana tomorrow, which will drop temperatures but will luckily not have any rain associated with it. For Saturday, temperatures are going to be in the upper 40s, but will still have lots of sunshine. Temperatures will get a bit warmer on Sunday with highs in the mid 50s, and those conditions are going to continue throughout the beginning of next week as well. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Warmer temperatures are on the way once again for Muncie and the campus of Ball State University, just in time for the weekend and Halloween on Monday! For the end of the work and school week tomorrow, highs will be in the mid 60s with mostly sunny skies and the conditions are just going to improve as we go on through the weekend. Temperatures will get all the way into the mid 70s for Saturday, which is above average for this time of year. On both Saturday and Sunday, there will be sunny skies overall for a very nice weekend. As we all know, Halloween is on Monday and it is going to be a very nice day to celebrate the holiday. Temperatures will be near 70 with sunny skies throughout the day. But if you are going out trick-or-treating on Monday night, temps will be in the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies. Clouds will be on the increase as we get into Wednesday with a high of 70 with our next rain chances coming in on Thursday.
MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Those warmer temperatures that have been around for the past few days are going to be sticking around for a bit longer. On Friday, temperatures are going to remain in the upper 80s with nothing but sunshine. On Saturday and Sunday, highs will stick around in the lower-to-mid 80s with a few more clouds in the sky, but nothing in terms to take away lots of sunshine! A cold front will move into the area beginning late on Sunday night and into the early hours of Monday, which will come with some rain chances as well. Our best chances to see some rain will come during the afternoon on Monday and continue into the morning and afternoon hours of Tuesday. But temperatures are going to start to go down on Monday with highs near 80, followed by highs in the mid-to-upper 70s for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Those showers will stick around throughout the overnight hours and into tomorrow as well. With a high of 70 tomorrow, the rain will move out during the mid afternoon hours making way for a nice Friday to end the week. Friday's high will be 67 with a bit of sunshine too. The weekend before finals will be wet on both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. The rain from the weekend will move out during the day on Monday, making way for a sunny Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s on both days

Beginning today with a high of 58, temperatures will constantly be going up and those will come with lots of sunshine. Up through Monday, every day calls for nothing but sun in the area. Highs for tomorrow will be in the mid 60s and will be going up from there. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will have highs 70 or above. Friday will have a high of 71, 70 for Saturday, and 74 for Sunday all with sunshine. Beginning the work week on Monday will still have temperatures in the lower 70s and sun, but could see some rain later in the day into Tuesday.
