“[Changes are] what the students want- to a certain extent to empower them to make some of these big choices and I can help them make it possible,” Tur said.  




New art piece on campus

“It just has been so cool to see everything come together. It's going to be really cool to see it in person, be able to say I did that, to see where it is on campus now, see students using it and things like that,” Polchinski said.

 “Kris needed one and I thought, well I’ll just sign up, see what the process is like and go through it, I don’t have anything to lose or gain from doing it,” Peiffer said.

DNR boat crews, Indiana State Police helicopters, Grant County K-9 units along with other nearby departments joined Eaton Police in the search over the weekend. Turner said more volunteer offers came in as they prepared for another search Monday morning. 



Cool wave then incoming storms

Forecaster Ian Kowalski has an update on the cool weekend after our warm St. Patrick's day, as well as potential for storms late next week.


A promising postseason

 “We made a goal all summer and all fall and then throughout the season to stay focused on winning the sectional, it was a great accomplishment,” said Matt Luce, the Wapahani head coach. “Then to win Saturday night against Carroll (Flora) was great and kind of a history-making thing for our school.” 



Repaving Muncie’s streets

 “It’s been a couple years in the works,” Owens said. “We actually were able to bump our timeline ahead a few years. We’re hoping that by 2025 we’ll be able to repave those roads.” 


New Ball State project aims to help homeless

 The project, which was broken up into two semesters, was built into a pre-existing course that is part of Ball State’s Sustainability minor. Students in the summer class designed the tiny houses, and students in the fall designed the site and the community building.
