MUNCIE, Ind. – After 400 years, Romeo and Juliet are finally back and better than ever in the Department of Theater and Dance’s production of “Romeo and Juliet”.
“Being able to watch the show come together from my perspective as the stage manager has been amazing. Everyone is so talented, the cast, crew, our directors—everyone,” said Emma Johnson, the stage manager of the production.
Johnson is one of the many students involved with bringing this show to life. Between the cast, crew, tech, and directors, the majority of those involved in this production are Ball State students.
“Doing this show with these amazing people has been so much fun. Everyone here is extremely dedicated to the craft and just ready to work,” said Johnson.
The show opens Friday, Sept. 26, at the Brown Family Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m., and is directed by Matthew Reeder, associate professor of directing and Shakespeare at Ball State. Tickets are free to the public, and visitors can park for free at the New York Avenue parking garage after 7 p.m.
