Central Indiana Alliance Against Hate held the Hate Crime Law Statehouse Rally on Jan. 16 in the Indianapolis State House. Alliance members, nonprofit organizations, business, religious and student group supporters, and community members joined together in support of passage of a comprehensive hate crime law for Indiana.

The Ball State men's and women's swimming and diving teams both traveled to Indianapolis to take on Xavier, IUPUI and University of Indianapolis. The men fell to Xavier 184 -110, to IUPUI 229-71, and to UIndy 222-77. The final scores for the women were Xavier 184, Ball State 104; IUPUI 174, Ball State 126; and UIndy 165, Ball State 131.
Light Up DWNTWN, powered by AEP, was held on Dec. 7 from 5 - 8 p.m. throughout Downtown Muncie. Community members enjoyed galleries, restaurants, retailers and the Community Tree Lighting ceremony at Canan Commons.
