A dedication for the video news studio took place in the Unified Media Lab on March 18 in the Art and Journalism Building. Dean Roger Lavery, President Paul Ferguson, student leaders and Student Media Coordinator Juli Metzger gave speeches. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony and food served afterwards.

The Ball State women's basketball faced Eastern Michigan at home on Feb. 25 at Worthen Arena. Ball State lost 56-41.
The Ball State men's volleyball team defeated Ohio State 3-0 on Feb. 21 at Worthen Arena. The Cardinals improved their record to 9-5 for the season with the win over the Buckeyes.
