Students took advantage of the warm weather Feb. 27, by setting up their hammocks, flying kites and driving with their windows down.


The 11th annual Ball State Dance Marathon took place Feb. 17 in the Field and Sports Building. Participants raised $653,011.23 for Riley Hospital for Children. The donations help fund the Magic Castle Cart — a program that delivers more than 20,000 gifts to patients, parents and siblings annually — and pediatric palliative care.

The 11th annual Ball State Dance Marathon took place Feb. 17 in the Field and Sports Building. Participants raised $653,011.23 for Riley Hospital for Children. The donations help fund the Magic Castle Cart — a program that delivers more than 20,000 gifts to patients, parents and siblings annually — and pediatric palliative care. 


The Cardinals competed in the Ball State Tune-Up, one of two home meets, on Feb. 16 at the Field Sports building. They got 2 dual wins and 3 event victories.

Muncie Mission held their annual Walk a Mile in My Shoes event that raises money to address physical and spiritual needs through food, shelter, Christian counseling and other long-term programs. The walk is held in February with harsh weather so that participants can empathize with homeless people that have to face these conditions on a daily basis. The 2018 fund goal was to reach $100,000.
