A Community Campus Event was held on June 16 at North Quad. Food trucks, breweries and bands were at Cornerstone Park on the corner of Main and Madison streets from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 15. Vendors included Greek’s Pizzeria, Speedy Dogs and Sea Salt & Cinnamon. In addition, The Guardian Brewing Company, New Corner Brewing Company and Books & Brews sold beer, and The Bashville Boys and Oldfield and The New Birds provided free entertainment. 


The university kicked off its centennial celebrations with a community picnic Friday, June 15. This is just the first of many celebratory events throughout the centennial year.

Students, faculty and Muncie community members gathered outside the C-1 lot outside Worthen for the 15th annual Late Nite Carnival April 20. Pre-registered attendants were allowed entry at 6 p.m. and the doors opened to all guests from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The Cardinals took on Central Michigan in a double header April 21 at the softball field at First Merchant's Ballpark Complex. Ball State won both games 2 to 1.

 More than 2,000 people attended the Columbus Pride Festival April 14 in Columbus, Indiana. Erin Bailey, a senior at Columbus Signature Academy-New Tech High School, organized the event to show that the hometown of Vice President Mike Pence is a welcoming place for the LGBTQ community.

 More than 2,000 people attended the Columbus Pride Festival April 14 in Columbus, Indiana. Erin Bailey, a senior at Columbus Signature Academy-New Tech High School, organized the event to show that the hometown of Vice President Mike Pence is a welcoming place for the LGBTQ community. 


During BBQueer on University Green April 13, people gathered to eat pizza. Spectrum, the organization in charge of the event, wanted to share more about who they are and get to know people on campus.
