The Late Nite Carnival was an event held on the North Commuter lot April 17 in Ball State University. Ball State students' tickets were free, and for others it was five dollars for admittance. The carnival had a variety of rides that went from side to side, up and down and twirled, as well as concessions and other activities.
The Ball State softball team won their matchup against Indiana State 8-7.
Due to inclement weather, the Ball State Men's Baseball versus Southern Indiana was canceled. Instead, the team had a scrimmage later in the day April 15 at Shebek Stadium.
The Ball State University Singers held their 62nd annual choral spectacular performance, in which they performed about 54 songs over the course of a few hours on April 10 starting at 7:00 p.m. in Emens Auditorium. The spectacular will also be held on Saturday, April 11, with a similar performance order.
