Muncie Mission Ministries hosted its annual Walk a Mile in My Shoes event, where groups and participants raised money to provide resources for the un-housed population.

The Ball State 29th Annual Student History conference was held by the Department of History on Feb. 20 in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center. The conference started with the welcome and opening remarks at 8:30 a.m., and closing with the reception and award ceremony at 5:00 p.m. During the conference it included 4 panel sessions, a keynote speaker and a lunch break. The conference provided students, professors, and professionals interested and versed in history to connect with each other as well as learn more from them.

Ball State mens volleyball match vs. McKendree University on Feb.12 in Worthen Arena. The ninth-ranked team earned a 3-1 victory over McKendree University, continuing an unbeaten streak of conference wins.
Ball State club and organization Spectrum hosts the Spectrum Sex Ed Bingo on Feb. 12 from 7-9 p.m. in the Teachers College. The bingo had questions regarding sex education and how to be have safe sex, and attendees that won bingo could choose an adult toy or item to take with them. The event had so many attendees that they ran out of bingo sheets, and there were even people standing to attend.
Ball State Men’s Basketball entered their game against Buffalo half-a-game behind the Bulls in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) standings. The weight of the game could not be ignored, as the cut-off seed to make the MAC tournament in Cleveland is the eighth seed, and Buffalo held that spot entering the game. The Cardinals fell to the Bulls 63-53 and now sit 1.5 games behind the eighth seed.
Chloe's Gems, a grandmother-granddaughter business, has made jewelry by hand for the Muncie Community since 2022. Business owner Chloe Rains works closely with her grandmother Melinda Rains to create jewelry of all varieties, including bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Chloe and Melinda can be found at the Minnetrista Indoor Farmers Market from 9 a.m. - noon, the next one taking place on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
