NYC choreographer teaches Ball State dancers new technique

Ball State dance majors brought a new addition to the monthly “First Thursday” gallery walk in Downtown Muncie. They performed a unique routine in the Gearbox building choreographed by Sidra Bell, who is a visiting artist from New York. Bell is visiting Ball State’s dance department for three weeks and is hoping to make the biggest impact possible.

Weekend in athletics: Feb. 5-7

Friday, Feb. 5 Men's tennis traveled to No. 53 Indiana University and suffered a 4-0 loss to the Hoosiers. They then went to Notre Dame Feb. 7 in the Eck Tennis Pavilion, where they dropped the match 7-0 against the No. 36 Fighting Irish.



Senior Allison Lindley led all individual statistics for the Ball State women's golf team and hopes to carry the momentum she built last season to this season. Offseason training for Ball State golfers

Collegiate golfers in the Midwest face challenges that southern schools don't have to deal with. Freezing temperatures, wind and snow fall keep Ball State golfers away from the green for several months at a time.



Hatsune Miku to perform in Chicago, extends tour

Vocaloid fans in the Midwest now have the opportunity to see the popular blue-haired artist close to home and “in person.” Hatsune Miku, a Crypton Vocaloid, will be performing in Chicago on May 25. This concert is just one of eight in the Hatsune Miku Expo North America 2016 tour.


'Doom' release date and collector's edition revealed

DOOM will come to us all... on May 13, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as Bethesda and id Software recently announced. They have also announced that the upcoming DOOM game will release alongside a limited collector's edition for those who want it. The premium collector’s edition will be $119.99 , and include a 12" statue of the Revenant Demon, as well as the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which contains a specialized armor and one-time-use upgrades for multiplayer combat. A cinematic trailer has also been released, detailing the gory goodness to come in the following months.
