The Co-creator of Wolverine has died at 69

Len Wein, the Co-creator of Wolverine and renowned comic book writer, died Sunday of an unknown cause according to Marvel. Hailing from New York, Wein’s dream was to be a comic book illustrator, but he settled on becoming a writer.

Women's golf takes 10th at Redbird Invite

After two rounds of golf on Sunday, Ball State women's golf returned to Weibring Golf Club Monday morning to take on 11 other schools in the final round of the Annual Redbird Invitational.

Ball State professors remember 9/11

Sixteen years ago, the front page headline on most papers lacked the biggest news story to occur that day. Sept. 11, 2001 is a day in history that many recall starting off as a normal day. 



Ball State University police responded to vandalism at Lucina Hall on Aug. 27th. The investigation is now closed and the University is not releasing any more information. Max Lewis, DN

University police close Lucina vandalism investigation

Ball State University police have closed the investigation into the vandalism of Lucina Hall, according to University spokesperson Kathy Wolf.  Several broken windows were found at Lucina Hall on Aug. 27 and university police were called in to investigate. That same week, the university released surveillance images of the suspect hoping to get the public's help in identifying him. 


Worldwide drone database could be coming

In the US alone, drone enthusiasts put up such a fight against the Federal Aviation Admission that the FAA eventually repealed it's law requiring drones to be entered in a national registry, after only a year and a half.
