AIDS drug study ends; research suffers blow

WASHINGTON - A major international study of a drug-conserving AIDS therapy has been halted because patients trying the on-again, off-again strategy got sicker than those who never took a break from the high-powered drugs, U.S. researchers announced Wednesday.

Shouldering the burden

Ball State swimmer Abby Arnold has faced adversity in her collegiate career. Relying on family and determination she has been able to deal with surgeries and persistent pain. Now after red-shirting her sophomore year, Arnold, a senior, is back to her record-breaking, pace-setting self.


Executive election materials available

While last year students complained about a lack of information concerning Student Government Association elections, this year the election packets are available all over campus and the Internet. Representatives from the Elections Board will be visiting residence halls to share information about the available election packets and the election process.
