Dear Editor, I am writing in response to the Feb. 9 Daily News article "SGA Removes Election Board." My understanding is that William Garvey was entrusted with the responsibility to compile a board to oversee the upcoming Student Senate elections at Ball State University.
As early as Fall 2006, Ball State University students may be able to use the financial aid in their bursar's accounts to purchase textbooks at the Ball State Bookstore. The Student Government Association discussed legislation Wednesday that would allow students to use their financial aid and scholarship money to purchase textbooks and class supplies.
Approximately half of college women experience some type of sexual aggression, and because of this startling fact, Andrea Cooper gave a presentation informing the Ball State University community about rape. "I wasn't able to help my daughter," Cooper said.

Despite losing its last two games, the women's basketball team has high expectations for the rest of the season. Ball State University has five games remaining, all of which are against Mid-American Conference West Division opponents. Residents of a house off-campus woke to two masked men with shotguns robbing them Tuesday morning. The residents were tied up with duct tape and had several hundred dollars worth of cash and goods stolen. One is a Ball State student.
