George Mason's improbable run to the Final Four hopefully opens the door for more mid-major schools to be included in the tournament, but Ball State University shouldn't count on it. -á Instead, the athletic department and whoever is named the new men's basketball coach ought to take the same approach as before - win the conference tournament for a guaranteed birth.

Dear Editor, I am writing in concern of a recent Forum opinion column, "Celebs Shouldn't Put Obesity in Positive Light," which caught my undivided attention. Being at an average weight, I am still appalled by the column. After reading this horrific article, I used Brad Hostetter's references to obtain my own knowledge.
Time to discuss student concerns was cut during Wednesday's Student Government Association meeting because special orders of business took time and priority. As the clock neared 5 p.m., senators approved the elimination of caucus meetings, cut committee meetings down to five minutes and skipped all committee reports except for Student Safety because it had legislation to read.
Ball State University's Electronic Field Trip program added more glamour to its already impressive resum+â-¬. The program, created by the Teachers College in 1996, recently received six more Telly Awards for last year's programs.
Dear Editor, This is in response to Brad Hostetter's column on March 29, "Celebs shouldn't put obesity in positive light." I agree with the statement - obesity is a huge problem in the United States - but Hostetter attacking full-figured women and claiming they are unattractive is preposterous.
Students love things that are open 24 hours a day - see: Wal-Mart and IHOP. As of November, Bursar accounts have been added to that prestigious list through Cardinal QuickPay. With the rising cost of postage and increasing expectation that students will be digitally savvy, Ball State's move away from paper bills simply makes sense.

We are fast approaching that point in the semester when more and more students will partake in one of the great college traditions: the all-nighter. The success rate of all-nighters tends to vary widely from wild success to utter disaster. One of my greatest academic triumphs came near the end of Spring Semester in 2005.
Muncie received more than $1.5 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help pay for clean-up efforts after the January 2005 ice storm. "The severe winter weather and flooding that occurred throughout Indiana in early 2005 was difficult for many communities," said J.
I've been very tempted, recently, to change my stance on file sharing. That's right, I'm teetering on the edge of being anti-Limewire. And it's not that I agree with the inflated and greed-fueled arguments of record labels and whiny musicians who claim sharing music over the Internet will trigger an Apocalyptic downfall of the music industry as we know it.

Last year, it arrived - the unhealthiest thing on television was no longer ads for giant burgers, bladder busters and breakfast burritos. Plus-plus-plus-sized actress Mo'Nique began hosting a beauty pageant for overweight women.
