McKinley entrance dedicated

Drizzle fell from overcast skies as campus and community leaders and alumni huddled under a tent at McKinley and Bethel avenues to dedicate the campus entrance Thursday afternoon. The campus entrance, which was completed on Aug. 14, was dedicated in honor of the alumni classes that donated to the McKinley project's entrance gate for their 50th and 25th reunions.


Delta Tau Delta fraternity celebrates 40th year on campus

Ball State University Delta Tau Delta fraternity has been considered the best charter of all Delta Tau Delta fraternities in the nation twelve times in 40 years. This weekend the fraternity is celebrating its 40-year reunion to commemorate its Ball State founding in 1966, Brian Hobbs, Delta Tau Delta faculty adviser, said.

Inaugural concert will unveil $1 million organ

The $1 million Sursa Hall concert organ will be unveiled in an inaugural concert Sunday, Oct. 22, at 4 p.m. after one year of construction and eight weeks of installation. Construction causes parade route to change

Undefeated: Perfect season brings joy to Muncie after World War II

The 1949 football season stands alone in Ball State University football history. That year, the Cardinals went a perfect 8-0, marking the first year for an undefeated Cardinal football team. "We actually won the last six games of the 1948 season," said Bill King, who was a senior right tackle on the '49 team.
