Ball State University's Zeta Beta Tau fraternity is starting the school year suspended for having a party last weekend with underage drinking. Men's tennis coach Bill Richards said Tuesday junior Joe Vallee will most likely miss the Cardinals' entire fall season because of a broken bone in his foot. Richards said Vallee hurt the foot playing tennis during the summer but initially thought it was a sprained ankle before going to the doctor.

Not only does the addition of a revolting program like Temple make the MAC look worse, it screws up the balance in the conference.
Head volleyball coach Dave Boos has zeroed in on who will start as his libero to open Ball State University's women's volleyball season. Alyssa Rio, a true freshman, has secured the position over sophomore Madison Monk.
