Protest held Sept. 10 against BSU Rentals

A protest against BSU Rentals and MiddleTown Property Group was held on Sept. 10 in front of BSU Rentals in the Village. The protest was organized by the Muncie Chapter of the Party of Socialism and Liberation (PSL).

Clocking In

Effective Sept. 19, Rashida Willard advances as the Associate Vice President for Inclusive Excellence on Ball State University’s campus. As well as the staff members of the Inclusive Excellence Office, Willard said she is over the moon to be joining the small but sturdy team.

Another Chance For Damage

The message of this tale is simple: people should not go to events that they do not agree with. And the fact of the matter is that people have been attending Sister Cindy’s sermons to protest her contested views; however, these protests may be the fuel that allows Sister Cindy to become more popular with each passing day.

Changing the Cardinal Culture

Caitlin Walsh came into the season with the intention of changing the culture. Once she met her new team, she knew Ball State was the place she wanted to be.

Cardinals crowned Ball State Tournament Champions

Coming off of two wins in the Ball State Tournament Sept. 9, Ball State Women’s Volleyball (8-1, 0-0) turned around and survived a five-set (25-22, 25-12, 25-23, 25-17, 17-15) thriller against Green Bay (5-4, 0-0) to be crowned tournament champions Sept. 10.


Ball State falls to Western Michigan in home opener

Ball State (0-2, 0-1 MAC) lost in its home opener at Scheumann Stadium 30-37 to Western Michigan (1-1, 1-0 MAC) Sept. 10 in what was not only its first home game of the 2022 season but its first Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponent.
