OUR VIEW: Fan fulfillment

Ball State University football fans have divided into two camps: those who wanted to go the Humanitarian Bowl and those who didn't. QUESTIONABLE CONUNDRUMS: City should increase funds for snow, ice clearing

Normally, taking a walk down a city thoroughfare isn't a harrowing experience. As in most of life, there's always a chance that something bad could happen, but it's a slim one at best. The odds of a pedestrian getting hit by a car, for example, certainly aren't worth losing sleep over.

THOUGHTS FROM THE JOHN: Black Friday: Jesus hates it, so should you

Jdimytai Damour was a young man with his whole life ahead of him. Now he's about to be plugged six feet into the ground, trampled to death by the American Dream for the sake of half-price plasma TVs and digital cameras. It was only a life though, right? We have six billion of those on Earth but less than a few thousand 52-inch plasma TVs at half price.
