BASEBALL: CMU doubleheader moved to Saturday

The final game of the baseball team's three-game series against Central Michigan University has been moved from Sunday to Saturday. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at noon.

The Chippewas won the first game of Saturday's doubleheader 12-8, winning the first two games of the series. The loss extends the Cardinals' losing streak to five games and is the second MAC series loss.

Flu shot debate canceled

The April 20 thimerosal and flu shot debate sponsored by the Ball State University Truth Movement has been canceled, Tony Farmer said. Farmer, president of the group, said the event was canceled because of health issues with one of the participants and the group hopes to reschedule the event for the fall semester.


MEN'S TENNIS: Cardinals fight for positioning in MAC Tournament

Ball State University's men's tennis team will end the regular season with plenty on the line. Saturday's match with Northern Illinois University will determine the level of difficulty Ball State will face at the Mid-American Conference Tournament next weekend.


SOFTBALL: Cards offense sweep of Huskies

Ball State continued its offensive prowess winning the second game of doubleheader 5-2 and completed its sweep of Northern Illinois University.


Habitat for Humanity gives away golden toilet

Hundreds of students from across campus stopped at the Scramble Light Wednesday and Thursday to support Habitat for Humanity's Building Better Communications team and attempt to win a golden toilet. The big winner of the day was Lisa Nelson, who won the golden toilet.
