Ball State University track and field team member junior Katie Johnson racked up eight of the 30 points for the Cardinals at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational. Students who usually park in the C1 parking lot on the north side of Ball State University's campus will have to move their vehicles by 10 p.m. Tuesday or else be towed. Nancy Wray, parking services office manager, said the lot is closing to make room for the Late Nite Carnival, which is scheduled for Friday.

After dropping the first game of a doubleheader against Central Michigan University 12-8, Ball State University baseball coach Greg Beals challenged his team to end its five-game losing streak and get back on track in the Mid-American Conference. Saturday morning's bomb threat at LaFollette Complex was not handled properly. Students were not informed of the situation until after the threat had subsided. The police handled the situation well and did their jobs effectively, however, the university's lack of communication to students is unacceptable.
